Welcome to Henrik Stenson Paragolf Challenge at The National 3-4 July 2024. With practice and activities on July 2nd.

The inaugural Henrik Stenson Paragolf Challenge was held in 2020. This tournament has quickly become the most popular paragolf tournament in the Nordic countries (according to the players). We have had approximately 50-60 participants every year. The Henrik Stenson Foundation is providing lunch for all the players, physiotherapy, as well as a clinic with Henrik. Henrik demonstrates his full support by always being on-site for (at least) one tournament day, plus the activity day that we arrange together with the juniors from Stenson Sunesson Junior Challenge.

Please note that The National will host the tournament 2024.  Further, FIFH, one of the largest Parasport clubs in the world, will support our events and endeavors with their immense knowledge. This tournament is a part of the EDGA schedule and is generating world ranking points for the participants.

Henrik Stenson Foundation is a 501c3 public charity.

We want to enable children to fulfill their dreams, ambitions and ultimately their potential in life. We have seen amazing things that can be accomplished with very little encouragement where a benefactor is involved.

It is our intention to donate some of Henrik Stenson’s winnings from golf to the Foundation and engage in various causes that can help children, with a dream and an ambition, by providing the initial spark to start them on their mission in life.

After becoming Champion Golfer of the Year in 2016, The R&A has given the Henrik Stenson Foundation support annually. For this we are truly grateful.

Here are a few things we are working on:

Stenson Sunesson Junior Challenge by Case - Henrik Stenson and Fanny Sunesson was a successful team on the golf course during many years. Now, the duo invite junior players to their Stenson Sunesson Junior Challenge by Case, a 54-hole tournament played over three days. (33 girls and 45 boys). The winners get to play in the Faldo Series European Final.

Henrik Stenson Paragolf Challenge - Annual tournament for golfers with disabilities. The inaugural tournament was held in Sweden 2020.

Henrik Stenson Paragolf Camp - In 2017 the first annual Henrik Stenson Paracamp took place, a training camp for golfers with disabilities. In August 2022 the Henrik Stenson Paragolf Camp will take place in seven different locations in Sweden. It is a camp for kids 7-15 years with no prior experience in golf. Thanks to the R&A we can let many new disabled children and their parents learn more about golf and its possibilities.

Annual Scholarships “Paragolfer of the year award”: Henrik Stenson Foundation offers two annual scholarships to disabled golfers. The aim is to encourage the scholars in their progress in golf and life in general.
